On Tuesday 12th of February the Protect Our Pristine Seas team attended the Live Here Love Here Community Awards 2019 and were delighted to win the Lisburn and Castlereagh 2019 Litter Heroes Award!  

On the second of February we went down to Ardglass beach for the first clean of 2019! We had 30 volunteers, many of which were locals. The beach, as usual was covered in litter waiting to be disposed of.   We collected 42 bags of litter (about 294 kg) and there was a noticeable difference.
